Muscles contract (generate tension). That is just what they do. So instead of trying to directly relax the tense muscles, we focus on increasing the tension in weak muscles via stimulation of attachment sites and controlled isometric contractions in very specific positions. Instead CHALLENGE YOURSELF and what you think you know. What is the client paying for? What is expected of a client? Do they appreciate the conversations as much as you think? Can you strive to get as close to this as possible? Could you be getting more out of your sessions? How would you business and clients outcome change if you headed in this direction?
