Paul spent his pre-collegiate years studying with John Kadz at the Mount Royal Conservatory in Calgary, where he received three performer's diplomas. He continued his studies in Boston at the New England Conservatory with Cleveland Quartet cellist Paul Katz, before re...turning home to study with John Kadz and Johanne Perron at the University of Calgary. Paul can be found spending most of his free time pursuing mountaineering objectives in Western Canada’s mountain regions." We’re ending our week off with a bang with our final team member introduction, Takumi Rodgers! Takumi is our second first year rep! Wazzzaaaaaaaaa! Hello I am Takumi, call me Taco, and I'm one of two new fish in the MUS Exec pond. A first year in the Bmus program, I've been playing cello since 4th grade and not practicing enough since. I am half Japanese, half Canadian, grew up in Australia and will do the accent (if you ask nicely). Other than music, I like to shuffle cards in unnecessarily flashy ways (cardistry), be a real gamer, and float around Discord. I've got 2 brothers, 2 cats, and 20+ different decks of playing cards. Please welcome the newest addition to our team, Hannah Fralic! Hannah is one of our two new first year reps! Hello everyone! My name is Hannah, I’m a first year student in the concurrent degree for music and education. I hope to one day become a band teacher! My main instrument is clarinet, by I also like playing piano, and tenor saxophone. I am a very creative person, hence the arts degree. Outside of music, I also enjoy drawing, both digitally and traditionally. One of my other hobbies is running epic dungeons and dragons games with my friends! I hope everyone has a wonderful year, despite the setbacks that come with learning online. And I’m really looking forward to meeting everyone and getting the chance to work with all these amazing people around me in the program!
