More then 200 participants in this years event got a chance to be fit and have fun with family and friends while supporting a great cause. Proceeds from this race will benefit the Ride to Conquer Cancer with breakthrough research, exemplary teaching, and compassionate care at the Princess Margaret hospital, one of the top 5 cancer research centres in the world.

Nancy McGarvie and James McGarvie organized and ran this walking and running event in support of Run for the Cure fundraiser that raises money for Princess Margaret Hospital. Participants walked or ran 5K or 10K through the Courtice neighbourhood. Post race celebration there was lots of door prices and free pizza
