It is not too late to plant tomatoes and, since we did some later seeding in the greenhouse this year, we still have a g...ood selection of fresh young tomato seedlings all ready to go. Gallons are $5 and 4 pots are $2.50. Sales every Wed. from 10 to noon and for one or two more Saturdays, same time. We are beside the golf course in Beban Park. NOW IS TOMATO TIME If you have not planted your tomatoes, peppers, squash, and cukes yet, now is the time! Or maybe you have finished planting but still have space left? Support your local community garden and fill that space up with our organically-grown seedlings. Beban Learning Gardens is in Beban Park by the golf course. We still have: - a good selection of tomato plants (small @$2.50; gallons @ $5) - some peppers, squash and a few cukes and eggplant - lettuce, le...eks, kale, and herbs going fast We also have flowers such as: - sunflowers to attract our bee friends Sales will likely continue until mid-June, every Wednesday and Saturday, from 10am to noon. As well, we have small amounts of a wide assortment of seeds available at $1/pkg.
