This was a little experiment I did to show my clients on why HOT WATER is not good for Color Treated Hair Colored 2 strands of extensions... Then dip 1 in cold and 1 in hot! Hot water opens up the cuticles of the hair shaft and allows the hair to release the color Cold water locks in the color with the cuticle being closed! So It is harder for the color to release out of the hair shaft. And Of course make sure using a sulfate free shampoo from a professional. And not Walmart or the drug stores!
