The bears are starting to wake up! It has been brought to our attention that bears have started visiting properties in the municipality and have been rummagin...g through garbage. We remind residents of the following precautions to avoid these encounters: Properly store garbage containers Ensure you put garbage at curbside the morning of collection - do not put garbage out the night before Ensure all food products/scraps, garbage, pet food and bird seed is properly stored Be Bear Wise!
