Navigating Life and Death

This is so beautiful and moving. It really shows the importance of palliative care not just in children but for everyone. We need to talk about death so we can face it.

With Mother’s Day tomorrow my mind is drawn to all the mothers who have lost a child. I don’t think any loss can be quite as devastating as losing a child, a child you carried in your body or just in your heart, a child you got to see grow up or never even got to hold. No mater your story know that you are not alone. At the beginning of the year I had been looking towards Mother’s Day and trying to decide how I could honour and offer support to those mothers. I had been thin...king of a group event were they could find support with others who understand. Because of the situation in the world my ideas of having a gathering have been put on hold for another year but if anyone out there would like someone to talk to or would like to share stories about their son or daughter I am here today or any other day of the year. Please know that I am thinking of you this weekend and I am wrapping you in love and prayers. See more
