SIX GREAT REASONS for you to register for the Kingsville Charity 5k Kilt (or Tartan socks etc) Walk/Run 1. to help to contribute to the successful return of Kin...gsville Highland Games event (June 22nd Lakeside Park) - by bringing lots of people to the event in a way which helps cover its costs ( - $1750 to date); 2. to carry itself financially so taxpayers don't ( - done through registration fees and the generous support of our 7 major sponsors); 3. to be an event that’s open to the general public and made for all ages and most abilities ( - over 200 and counting ages 3 to 86!); 4. to be an event that’s environmentally responsible ( - there are just too many ways and too little space here to list how we are GREEN!); 5. to get people moving in a fun & unique way ( - there’s nothing more colourful & fun than people walking or running in kilts & tartans!!); AND, 6. to contribute funds to two local charities doing good work ( - $1905 to date.)
