Interesting findings. I've heard about this before. For me, this is a tough topic because it feels a bit judgemental. No one really knows what's happening inside your body just by looking at the outside shape. Interesting food for thought though. We'll talk about it tonight in Not Another Yoga Class, the working title for the Tuesday night class. Join us! Try balancing in new, challenging ways that you won't find in any other class in Nelson. Tonight we'll get into working ...with the transverse plane. That's fancy body mechanics language for twisting. Sunday, I am attending this one day retreat in Sunshine Bay with Anie Boudreau and Trisha Wilson. I can't wait! Yoga all morning, tea and play time, journal time, movement + reflection. Ah. Yes. There are a couple of spots left if you want to join! Otherwise, see you Tuesday at 7pm?

Tuesday Night strength class! 7pm. First class is this Tuesday, September 11th. The first two Tuesdays are drop in classes so that students can try the class before committing to the pre-registered session. The cost of drop in is $15.... Expect to learn some new breathing techniques, use light weights, hang from a bar, learn some wrist prep and walk on a dowel. All these tricks and more I learned from working with Kathryn Bruni Young. This class is playful, mindful and so much fun. Starting Tuesday, September 25th Yoga Strength will be pre-registered. Try a class and see how you like it. This class will fill in all the gaps around strength support that yoga doesn't typically address. See you there!
