March 20, 2020 With the recent spread of the COVID-19 virus, companies are putting procedures in place to protect the health of both their own employees, as well as the health of their customers and vendors.... Below are some of the measures Nor Tech has put in place for our project sites and workplace: 1. Contractors and suppliers are asked to avoid any visits to our locations unless confirmed as required by their contact within Nor Tech. 2. All Nor Tech Project sites are to follow the requirements set forth by each individual General Contractor (Mechanical) that we are working for. 3. Anyone who meets the following conditions are asked to avoid visiting our workplace: Personally travelled internationally, including crossing the Canada-US border, within the last 15 days; Has come in close contact with others who have travelled internationally, including crossing the Canada-US border, within the last 15 days; or, Is experiencing cold or flu like symptoms? 4. All people within our workplaces are required to follow Nor Tech’s hygiene guidelines that include: Washing their hands frequently with soap and water or with an alcohol-based hand rub; Sanitizing workstations, meeting rooms, cafeteria and lunchroom areas prior to leaving them using sanitizer and paper towels or rags; Covering their mouth and nose when coughing or sneezing; Maintaining social distancing practices, including Remaining at least one meter distance from other people whenever possible; and, Refraining from physical contact with others, such as shaking hands, high five or similar Not Tech Mechanical Inc. is committed to the health and safety of all its employees and valued customers.
