#HolidaySafetyTip from the PEI Fire Marshal: If you’re going with a live tree, make sure it has fresh, green needles that do not fall off when touched. Before p...lacing the tree in the stand, cut 2 from the base of the trunk. And feed it plenty of water, every day. #HolidayFireSafety #StaySafe

Today is a big day for NRFD and the communities we serve! We have replaced our 65ft ladder truck with a new to us state of the art 100ft platform truck! We are literally reaching new heights with this addition.
We just can't forget. No matter how much time passes, no amount of social media, no pandemic, and no election can allow us to forget the ones that sacrificed everything in order for us to have the freedoms we do today. Thank you and we have not forgotten.

As everyone knows this time of year is especially difficult for families not to mention this whole pandemic thing! Food banks need your help to keep the shelves stocked and local families fed! We are planning a food drop off on Sunday Nov. 1st at our fire hall between 12:00pm and 5:00pm with all food donations going to the Cornwall Food Bank. If you missed the Y's Mens food drive then now is your chance! Maybe you want to lighten your pillow cases after halloween and feel good about doing it! Please round up a few non perishables and drop them off at the fire hall and help your neighbours. Tables will be set up at the front of the hall to provide contactless drop off. Please share.
Hey! When you set your clocks back tonight don’t forget to change the batteries in your smoke and carbon monoxide alarms! We will be handing out free batteries today starting at 11am until we run out at the Cornwall plaza. You have no excuses now! The batteries are free! ... Hope to see you there. See more
