Did you participate in a clean-up before we paused our program? Don't forget to submit your data from your clean-up! Sending in your completed litter permit or your data card lets us better our program and track the kinds of litter and locations of litter throughout our province. We also enter you into our data card contest, where you have the chance to win 1 of 3 sustainability prize packs worth over $100!

Not only does it take 700 gallons of water to make one cotton shirt but it can take upwards of 80 years for clothing in a landfill to only start to break down! Buying secondhand can also reduce greenhouse gas emissions. Before you head out to go thrift shopping try going through your closest - you may be surprised about what you forgot you owned. You may also declutter what you don't like or does not fit you anymore. Someone else's trash is another persons treasure! Tag your favorite stores to go thrift shopping in below! #LessWasteLessLitter
