So the first major sbow fall and the netting on the roof of the main part of the pen, that dad worked so hard on, but wasnt completely finished, came down with all the snow. so before we could even start feeding and letting the animals out we had to cut down the roof..... and knock all the snow off the pheasant's side... thankfully that one stayed up..... here we go with the winter care.... cold, wet, and multiple times a day because if frozen water.

slowly but surely..... tree is up and lit, still needs ornaments... garland and lights are up on the beem.... icicle lights and antlers are up on the window.... and village is lit..... still lots to go but not in a rush.... was also able to plug in the angle wings dad made for me 3 Christmases ago.

And so It begins!!! Trying to bring some cheer into the house during these trying times.

Chocolate For Christian's Bowling update Ian just arrived at alley to be told the 5 Pin Director received an email that we won’t be getting our cases until FEBRUARY!!!! They guess it’s all due to Covid and factory issues. They are extremely frustrated and upset over this as is their sister program on the 5 pin as they’ve both been having parents presell. They are truly sorry for any issues this causes but looks like Covid gets another over on us all.

Our duck eggs were really starting to pile up so yesterday I made homemade pancakes and used them and then today Christian, Ainsley and I bit the bullet and tried duck eggs just like normal scrambled eggs... I've been putting it off cause I've read how they can taste really different... but thwy actually were really good and quite filling. It is an awesome feelimg to feed your family something that something you raised, you feed and water and take care of produced.
