This first half of December has been absolutely a blessing for Blue Hours Photographers. Nova Scotia, with its 44 degrees of latitude north offers an outstanding scenery not shared with any other city facing the Atlantic on this side of the world. At sunset time, the King Star lands over a gorgeous colorful continent reflecting a wide range of tones and shades towards the clouds and sky. The influence of the Atlantic and the powerful sunset at this latitude are unique. I sp...end countless hours exploring the shades of our fantastic Nova Scotia at Blue Hours time and documenting its beauty the way I see it. I'll keep working on that for as long as I can. Beginning and end of a beautiful winter day.

A few other shots on the last walk through Point Pleasant Park in Halifax. I took the time to capture the Halifax Memorial Monument. It holds over 3100 names of man and women who lost their life during the two World Wars. The large majority has no graves and a few with graves but the commonwealth is unable to maintain them. The other images are just randomly selected from the collection. I find this park fascinating during the summer but the winter does not really takes away much from it. As I walk my camera can't stop clicking. It is a beautiful park and a perfect spot to relax even in the winter when the temperature warms up enough to get out.
