Interesting and concerning ruling. I would be surprised if it's not appealed. Interesting to know how the joint bank accounts affected the judges ruling on the RRIF. I always recommend using the Power of Attorney rather than making bank accounts jointly held with your parents (or anyone). Now especially if this could possibly effect other beneficiary designations.
