First day of a new year but circumstances make us feel like it’s just another day. Maybe so, but we still have reasons to be happy and hopeful for the next 365 days. This year may still be challenging, somewhat frustrating and sometimes lonely, but there’s comfort in knowing we are all in this together. . 2020 was a heck of a year!!! . It was worrisome when handbag sales basically flatlined in March/April. I knew I had to change and do something or else that was it. I had to ...pivot my small biz to survive so I joined many others and started making/selling masks because there was a strong need for them but I also wanted to make them affordable without sacrificing quality. I lost count how many masks were made and shipped out. Who knows how much longer the need for masks will last but as long as there is a need, I will make them available. . What I want to work on in 2021: ~ Think about a comeback for handbags ~ More thinking out of the box designs ~ Learn more sewing tricks & method ~ Connect more with other creators/makers/artists ~ Work on my camera-shyness and be more out there ~ Improve my biz even more to lessen my impact on our fragile environment Here’s to a new start HAPPY NEW YEAR! xo C #HappyNewYear #handmade #madeincanada #slowfashion
