If you’re using WordPress and want to speed up your site, there are a couple of great plugins you can add that will immediately do the trick! Autoptimize - Condenses all your files. Html, javascript & CSS all need to be loaded before your page is loaded. This plugin optimizes these files to speed up load time.... Smush - Resizes all images. Large images can bog down your load time significantly, so having a plugin that automatically resizes them and strips unnecessary data is a great way to fix that problem!

Best way to sell your products online during Covid? So you have an online store set up, but now you need to actually drive traffic to it and sell your products. How should you do that?... One of the best ways to attract your ideal customers is through Facebook ads. Which is the best e-commerce platform for your website? The two main platforms out there being: 1. Shopify 2. Woocommerce (WordPress)... Shopify is the most widely used platform globally, but all of them have their own pros and cons. Shopify Pros: Shopify's main purpose is eCommerce. So, it tends to be smoother (with WordPress, you may have to deal with plugins conflicting with each other, but this isn’t an issue with Shopify) Easy to setup. It’s very beginner-friendly, so even if you’re not familiar with coding, you can learn to use the platform for your own shop more easily than WordPress. Hosting & security come with it - you don’t need to buy these separately. 24/7 Support Shopify Cons: Higher transaction fees Expensive addon apps - adding extensions to your site is typically a smooth, easy process, but can get costly. Woocommerce Pros: Limitless customization - If you want to create a bespoke online store with its own unique design, this may be the better option. Shopify tends to be limited to the theme you choose. Scalability - If your online store grows, woocommerce can handle it! Great value for money. Woocommerce is a plugin within WordPress, and it’s totally free. Some of the addon plugins have a cost but are usually very reasonable. Woocommerce Cons: Not beginner-friendly. If you want something that’s easy to set up and you have no web design experience, Woocommerce may give you a nice big headache. Not as smooth. There’s more of a risk for your plugins clashing with each other, potentially causing issues for the visitors trying to place orders. This isn’t an issue as long as you or your developer monitor and maintain the backend on a regular basis. No customer support. If you need help, you need to either troubleshoot it yourself or get help from online forums. Which platform do you use?

Do you have a physical store & a website, but no online store? 6 months ago, that might not have been a big deal. But during Covid, more and more people are purchasing online instead of in-store, so it’s crucial for some businesses to expand their online services to cater to these changes.... There are plenty of ways to either start a new store online or update your current website to include a store - depending on which platform you use. Which platform do you use, and have you implemented an online store yet?
