Patti's Wellness Advocacy 08.02.2022

How my life changed is a tragedy that could kill me or I can choose to do whatever I can do to be happy because that is what my beautiful daughter Megan would want. I want to honor my daughter in a million different ways. I want to share with anyone I meet my story but to also help others.

When you begin a new chapter in your life, whether it’s a new job, new relationship, new home, new goals and dreams and objectives you want to accomplish in your life, what is the most important thing to do? Build from the inside out, the outside in, or from the ground up? We all have roots in our families, good values instilled in us, things that we were taught by our parents and others. But as we grew up and became more interested in what we want to do with our lives, we re...alized that some stuff we have learned, some experiences we have had may have changed our perspective on our life and what direction we want to go. We sometimes hold on to things that have cluttered our mind, our hearts and our spirits and that can spill over into other areas of our lives and our homes as well. We may have gotten so busy with our daily lives and the things we are doing with our children and our families and work that your house may have gotten a bit out of control and not realized that even though our home is where our heart is, we may not of taken as good care of that as we should have. I know this from experience. I had to start from the ground up. I had to refocus on the things that were truly important in my life, create a new path from myself after tragedy struck my family just over a year ago. I myself had the good fortune to have met up with a friend from high school who motivated me and inspired me to make the good the necessary changes for myself to refocus and actually do something with my life. This was my defining moment. My personal reason to realize that things needed to be changed to be shook up, cleaned up, and to create a new journey for myself and my family. I began working with Nearer Image Consulting a subsidiary of soFX Canada and became a client of the Ground up Wellness Program. I became an advocate for musicians and artists. I researched and wrote. I am in the process of starting a wellness advocate business of my own. I went from being over 270 pounds in less than a year and I lost over 65 pounds with this coaching. I had my house cleaned and organized and all this was from The Ground Up. We all want to believe we can do things like this on our own but many hands make light work. To find the courage and strength you need to ask for help. To be strong enough to realize you do need to make changes in your life. Its not easy. But it can be done. Ask me. My life has gone from being empty to so full of joy and happiness. I am bursting at the seams. Thank you so much can I post it? Or what are robs thoughts? Show quoted text

When you think about your wellness does it just have to pertain to how you look on the outside? Or how much you weigh or can it also come from the inside and how you feel about things in your life and the things you want to change? It can be from how your home looks and smells, to how you feel about your body. Everything now a days can reflect on how our mind affects these little things in our life and at times It will weigh heavily on us. It can affect our self esteem, our m...oods, and weigh us down and prevent us from living our life to the fullest. As a wellness advocate and on my own personal journey over the last year, I have learned that unless you are truly honest with what you want for yourself, and put yourself first at times, then your mind can play games on you. It can wreak havoc on your self esteem and with your emotions. I know this all too well. But I can help. I want to help others reach their full potential and to achieve everything that you want out of life. To succeed and to be happy not just from the outside in but from the inside out. We all want to believe that we are successful in all areas of our lives whether it is in our relationships, our families, our jobs, or our personal wellness. But if you really think about it hard are we really achieving the things we want for ourselves? See more

In our lives we make a lot of choices and decisions. Some of them not good, some are the best choices we can make not only for ourselves but also our children and our legacy and our future. What do these choices or these paths that we have chosen for ourselves help us to do in our lives? Where will they lead us in the future? Do we take the path less travelled? The one that is smooth and continuous? With no real set goals for the future? Or do we take the path that challenges... every sense we have? The ones the we have to work hard to see, to feel, to smell, to hear, and to actually be able to taste the dreams we want to achieve for ourselves? Do we want to climb up to the highest mountain? Climb the tallest tree? Or do we allow ourselves to be distracted by the things in life we want to believe in and instead of being the best we can be we allow ourselves to fake what and who we are in life. Do we do things in life because we are running from reality of our daily lives and refuse to see what the choices and the path we are taking although at the moment we feel it’s the right choice and path for us, do we ever really take the time to step back to consider is this really a distraction because we are too scared to do the right thing for ourselves? What do we really challenge ourselves to do in our lives? For those of us who are blessed to have children, do we do everything for them and neglect what and who we should be and be a shining example of who we want them to be and instead do what we need to do for us regardless of the consequences? Amid all the distractions in our lives what or who do we really live for? Do we do everything we can to achieve our dreams? Or do we just dream a dream, and not go after it? I know all of us in our lives want to feel safe, loved, secure and be able to stand on our own two feet. To move forward to the best of our abilities but what are we teaching those around us? If we continue to run from who we really are and not choose the right direction. Is it because we are not strong enough to make the right changes in our lives? Show quoted text
