ACORN (Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now) Canada, consisting of chapters nationwide, an independent national organization of low- and moderate-income families fighting for social justice, held its fifth National Convention on June 15th-27th in Hamilton this year. A contingent from and associated with The Table attended to participate in workshops, listen to various speakers and take action in door knocking to get signatures on a petition about renoviction... as well demonstrating for Homes Over Profit.
