The 2020 Business Excellence Awards - It’s not Business as Usual, But we’re Celebrating Business, as Usual! 2020 has brought the 17th annual awards a digital ma...keover! This traditionally in-person event has pivoted to a fully produced Excellence Awards Show, highlighting businesses and individuals in Peterborough + Peterborough County. The video will start with a 2 minute countdown at 7pmISH (the ish means please give a 2-5 minutes grace window). The judges have reviewed all of the submissions and have made their final decisions! Recipients will be announced live during the broadcast. We asked all of our finalists to record a just-in-case-you-win thank-you speech. So, everyone has to watch to find out who the recipients are! In total, awards will be handed out in over 20 categories, including the Business Citizen of the Year, Farm Family of the Year and Businesswomen of the Year. The Greater Peterborough Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Week Committee established the Peterborough Business Excellence Awards in order to promote the advancement of responsible business leadership and prosperity within the community. It is our goal that many noteworthy and accomplished companies will be recognized and honoured with these prestigious awards. We are proud to continue to support our caterer, Gerti’s, and venue, Showplace Performance Centre, even though we are not celebrating in-person this year. #excellenceptbo
