Throughout my life I have worked tirelessly to advance the interests of the people of Old Crow. I have worked to implement our land claims agreement, I have been a strong international advocate for the protection of the Porcupine Caribou, the preservation of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge, and salmon management. Over the last four years as a Minister with the territorial government, I worked hard to bring support to rural Yukon for Elders, families and children. I have... advanced Yukon’s environmental protections, and helped create hundreds of affordable housing units for Yukoners. I have woven the values and needs of the Gwitchin People in all of my work -- and proven myself as a strong, dedicated and caring leader. Housing is one of the most challenging issues facing the Yukon. During my time as the Minister Responsible for the Yukon Housing Corporation I am proud of the work accomplished to create more housing opportunities, such as: Building community housing in Old Crow... Advanced $500k to VGG for retrofits on community housing Supported the development or upgrade of more than 600 homes in Yukon Opened the first Housing First facility north of 60 Transforming social housing into community housing with supports Contributing to the creation of more than 350 affordable housing units Releasing nearly 500 lots More can and will be done to improve housing in the territory. If re-elected, I will continue to work hard to create more affordable housing opportunities across the Yukon. Old Crow, let’s keep going.

Health and wellness are the pillars of a strong community. During my time as Minister of Health and Social Services, I am proud of the work accomplished to Put People First and improve the health and wellness of my community, such as: Building a new community centre in Old Crow... Planning a new health centre in Old Crow Building a Winter Road in 2021/22 Creating extended family care agreements to support children to stay in their home communities Supporting Elders to age in their home communities Supporting mental health in rural Yukon through four new mental wellness and substance use hubs Doubling the medical travel subsidy to $150 a day Creating a universal affordable childcare program for Yukon, which will see a break of $700/month per child. If re-elected I will continue to work hard to improve health and wellness supports for the citizens of Old Crow and all Yukoners. Old Crow, let’s keep going

I know the citizens of Old Crow care about the environment and the land we call home. During my time as Minister of Environment I am proud of the work accomplished to protect our environment, such as: Advocated to protect the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge - including international advocacy work... Protected the Peel Watershed Implementing Chiilii Chik Habitat Protection Area management plan Enacted a moratorium on fracking Created a strategy to manage Yukon’s parks and protected areas Declared a climate emergency and created a strong plan to respond with a goal of reaching net zero GHC emissions by 2030.
