We hope everyone gets to enjoy the last bit of Fall colours this weekend, thanks to this gorgeous weather! One place that's very famous for experiencing Fall colours is Algonquin Provincial Park. Established in 1893, it is the oldest provincial park in Canada. Its size, combined with its proximity to the major urban centres of Toronto and Ottawa, makes Algonquin one of the most popular provincial parks in the province and the country. Over 2,400 lakes and 1,200 kilometres of... streams and rivers are located within the park. https://youtu.be/xogutVRiaq0 #destinationontario #stayhomemakememories

We're celebrating Culture Days all week, until October 25, online and in-person. And today, we're featuring 2 fantastic artists: Thelacsana Rajaganapathy (Vitruvian) is a grade 12, high school student and a lover of all things art: "Art has always been something to turn to for comfort for me. I hope that I can continue to draw and paint, well into my adult life even if I can’t make it a career. I would like to start utilizing art for activism, I plan on making art to showc...ase important issues in the world and allow it to start the conversation on issues like famine in war torn countries." Follow her on Instagram: http://ow.ly/s6Bc50BXOvh Husna Nizar is a full time high school teacher in Toronto. She draws inspiration for her artwork from a wide variety of experiences. She is moved by the natural beauty of landscapes and horizons from around the world. Husna is also captivated by the human spirit, emotion and the extraordinary diversity of faith and lifestyle in mankind. She strives to crystallize and amalgamate these concepts artistically in forms that are inventive, distinctive and pleasing.
