UPDATE Following the Province of Ontario’s order for the Region of Durham to move into the grey, or lockdown category, all public City facilities including the Chestnut Hill Developments Recreation Complex will be closed as of 10:00pm on December 23, 2020 until further notice. MEMBERSHIP & PASS FEES: -Members utilizing the monthly payment option will have their payments suspended and get a credit for the time closed, or a pro-rated refund upon request. ... -Active Members who have paid in full; your membership term will be extended for the duration of the closure. Pro-rated refunds will be provided upon request. -If a membership is currently on hold, the membership will remain on hold or a pro-rated refund will be provided upon request. -CHDRC Patrons with monthly passes will receive a refund for the unused portion of the pass. As the situation unfolds and continues to evolve, we will send you status updates. Keep active and safe until we reopen and reschedule your favourite fitness programs! UPDATE On Monday, November 23, the Region of Durham will enter the Red Zone of the Province of Ontario’s COVID-19 Framework. Please see below the new restrictions for the CHD Rec Complex: NEW RESTRICTIONS: Sports where a 2-metre distance cannot be maintained are prohibited - this includes squash, racquetball, doubles squash & doubles play for tennis. ... NO CHANGES TO: Group Fitness Classes, Health Club, and the Pool will continue to operate without any new restrictions. Singles Tennis play will continue with a maximum of 2 players per courts. We now have an electronic COVID-19 screening form available for patrons! All you need to do is scan this QR Code with your mobile phone’s camera. Once scanned, a browser pop-up will appear. Click on the pop-up and it will direct you to our online form - https://forms.pickering.ca//COVID-19AssessmentForPartonVis You’ll fill in the online form with all of the same information required on the paper screening forms. A Pass or Fail result will appear, which you’ll sho...w to the check-in kiosk staff. Once they’ve seen a pass, you can check the declaration and click submit. If you choose, you can still use the paper forms at the entrances, however we do encourage you to try the digital form! The QR Codes are posted at all entrances of the building. This applies to classes in Studio’s A, B, & C as well as 55+ Group Fitness Classes.
