On a eu la chance d'accueillir les fabuleux Hernan Cattaneo, Lee Burridge & Gorje Hewek à Piknic 2019. Pour tout vous dire, on prévoyait se retrouver la tête dans les nuages à nouveau avec All Day I Dream cet été! Bien que les circonstances ne nous l'ont pas permises; dans sa forme originale, on fête à leurs côtés virtuellement dans le cadre de All Day I Stream. On se retrouve ici, sur notre page Facebook à 14h demain! - We had the chance to welcome the fabulous Hernan Cat...taneo, Lee Burridge & Gorje Hewek at Piknic 2019. In all honesty, we were planning on having our heads in the clouds again with All Day I Dream this summer! Although the circumstances did not allow it; in its original form, we celebrate alongside them virtually as part of All Day I Stream. Rendez-vous here, on our Facebook page, at 2 pm tomorrow! Passion dimanche! Définitivement notre journée préférée de la semaine. La vôtre aussi on l'espère (wink wink). Dimanche dernier aurait été le dernier de la saison 2020. Ouf, ça frappe fort. Vous ne vous imaginez pas comme vous nous avez manqué depuis le 18 mai dernier. Tous ces rendez-vous hebdomadaires sacrés, manqués. À vous entendre depuis le début de l'été, le sentiment est réciproque et partagé, et oh comme c’était bon de sentir votre présence virtuelle tout au long de l...’été. On aurait fêté nos 18 ans cette année... majeurs, mais visiblement pas vaccinés. La 18ème saison, dans sa forme originale tant attendue par plusieurs, n'aura finalement pas pu avoir lieu. L'ékip a gardé espoir tout au long de l'été et travaillé sur des dizaines (même des centaines!) de scénarios au fur et à mesure qu’évoluait la situation, mais force est de constater que la pandémie ne nous a pas laissé de répit. Piknic repousse donc les festivités célébrant sa majorité officielle à l'an prochain, comptez sur nous pour faire ça en grand! #genrevraimentextragrand Petite pensée pour nos amis dans l'industrie, mais aussi pour la société toute entière qui fait face à cette deuxième vague. Restons solidaires, restons sécuritaires. Portez-votre masque et dansez #ÀLaMaison! Yours too, we hope (wink wink). Last Sunday would have been the last of our 2020 season. Phew, that hit hard. You cannot imagine how much we’ve longed for you since May 18th. All those sacred, missed weekly rendez-vous. We thank you for sharing the love since the beginning of summer, the feeling is very much mutual and we couldn’t be more happy to have felt your virtual presence throughout the summer. This year would have been our 18th anniversary legal, yet not legal yet. The 18th season, in its original form long awaited by many, could not happen. Our team remained hopeful throughout the summer and worked on dozens (even hundreds!) of scenarios as the situation evolved, but it is clear that the pandemic had its own plan. Piknic therefore postpones the festivities celebrating its official 18th birthday until next year, count on us to make it big! #likesuuuuperbig A little thought for our friends in the industry and more so for our society at whole, which is facing this second wave. Let us remain united, let us remain safe. Wear your mask and dance #AtHome! We will meet again, on your favorite dance floor, a bucket in hand with some good beats blasting!
