Pla-Mor Bowl 01.07.2021

Sad news for Ontario announced today, effecting the bowling community. Not the 3-STRIKES we like to boast about, entering our third lockdown. We will be closed for 4 weeks starting this Saturday, April 3rd until Saturday May 1st. Please stay posted right here for updates. Summer League will be forming while we tie up the 2021/22 season in May. Stay safe and Happy Easter!

Good morning/afternoon everyone! We hope you are all staying safe while we all fight against this pandemic. When it’s behind us for the most part, we’ll all be better off! We will be (fingers crossed) opening back up Thursday May 20th with a plan in place to finish up business with our leagues. The plan is to get everything done by the end of June. STARTING TUESDAY JUNE 1st, we will be hosting our Spring/Summer League until July 27th. Please keep an eye open for all of the details which will/could be dictated by the province. In the meantime we’ve started our games room! Hope you like it as much as we do! Stay tuned and talk soon!

HAPPY ST. PATRICK’S DAY everyone! With only 10 people allowed in at one time, all it took was some great music, food and a couple drinks (non-alcoholic too) with the great comradeship for them to have fun! Better than last years party! SLAINTE

Hello everyone! We hope everyone is doing well in our 11th month of the pandemic. There isn’t much news to pass along as our municipal and provincial governments have been taking care of that on our behalf as we remain closed in the {Grey-Lockdown} tier of their colour coded system. Shelley and I just wanted to touch base with you all to tell you we sincerely miss everyone dearly and cannot wait until we can reunite in some form or fashion based on the government’s placement... for our region. We are hoping for our region to be granted orange status as of March 1st (our old status until December 20th; Red 21st-26th) but we are prepared for Red status which will at least allow us to open our doors for up to 10 guests not including staff. We will be in touch or your league executives and/or team captains will be in touch with everyone to let you know how we will be moving forward. Nevertheless, we all hope you stay safe and warm as Niagara seems to have a stranglehold on this virus as resolved cases are doubling new cases. New cases have been dropping at great lengths! Let’s be positive and get the ball rolling again!!!!! We are anxious and ready!!!!!! Please reach out to us anytime with any questions or maybe just to say hello! Bryan & Shelley

Thank you for your kind donation Charles Betts. I do not mind shopping for non-perishables if you send a monetary donation. LET’S FILL BIN #2 everyone. Grab a can of soup or KD from your cupboard. Every little bit helps a lot.

CONGRATULATIONS Shawn Pellizari! Perfect 450 game tonight in game 3 during Niagara Mixed Pro League. 985 triple. First perfect game we’ve had since Tim Dixon back in 2017 and first perfect game since we went to string-pin September/2018. Well done PelliPPlus!

Made in STC We cap off #SmallBusinessWeek with a business that recently celebrated 60 years here in St. Catharines Pla-Mor Bowl in Port Dalhousie (108 Main S...t). The longest run business in Port Dalhousie was established by Bill Latcham in 1960. Brian Bridgett and Shelley Smart purchased the business and recently completed a renovation to refresh the space. A dream come true for Brian who has always been a 5-pin bowler.and now owns his own alley! This place holds many memories for our residents from childhood birthday parties, social gatherings, cosmic bowling and of course the great onion rings! Brian and Shelley have all the proper public health regulations in place and are ready to welcome the community back in a safe way. Thank you, Brian and Shelley, for your investment in St. Catharines we wish you many more years of success. Let the good times roll! InvestinSTC #investinstc #SmallBusinessWeek

ATTENTION: TO ALL OF OUR LEAGUE MEMBERS! Thank you for hanging in there patiently waiting for some positive news for our leagues to return this September. Following health protocols set out by Niagara Health, the Province of Ontario and we've stepped up our cleaning as well, your league executives and/or us will be contacting you for a safe return for the September season. Without shutting us out too quickly, come out to your designated day/night with your league to an OPEN HOUSE and check out what has changed in the centre and a few of your league rules as well to help get us all through this unprecedented time. We haven't been in business in Port Dalhousie for 60 years because we don't care about our customers! WE DO CARE! Hope to see everyone out safely for your league's OPEN HOUSE!
