Super proud of our commercial currently airing on TV and social media ads for Boys & Girls Clubs Big Brothers Big Sisters of Edmonton & Area in partnership with our friends at 12 Creative. Our roots go back nearly 20 years as youth workers with Boys and Girls Club of Edmonton. It’s truly an honour for it to come full circle with such a meaningful campaign, in a time when their children and families need us, more than ever. We created the concept in search of a unique way to showcase a brand new initiative of BGCBIGS during this unprecedented time, a Virtual Mentorship Program. Thank you Eric Cheng and team, and BGCBIGS and team for the opportunity to be part of your campaign.

We feel such a tremendous amount of gratitude and honour to be wrapping up this docuseries, around the remarkable collaborative work that’s happened inside the Expo Centre these past few months. We were the first camera crew allowed inside there, and from the onset of the project we were so excited for the opportunity. Once we got in and began to connect with agencies, staff and participants, our hearts were even more full than we could have imagined. Thank you to all the par...tnering agencies who trusted us with your story, and opened up with these authentic, candid moments we’ve been able to capture along the way. This episode is the absolute perfect ending. In the final episode, we learn how the quick sector-wide response of more than 20 organizations and all levels of government, led to impactful frontline efforts that provided a much-needed safe space for those experiencing homelessness in Edmonton during the pandemic. While the Edmonton Expo Centre was a short-term solution to provide these supports and services, the work of keeping this vulnerable population safe continues. Ultimately, the solution to homelessness is housing. Funding support from the Government of Canada's Reaching Home program, the YourAlberta (Government of Alberta) Ministry of Community and Social Services and the City of Edmonton. Video made in partnership with Bissell Centre, Boyle Street Community Services, Boyle McCauley Health Centre and Homeward Trust Edmonton. Video production: PlanIt Sound Inc. Director: R.J. Cui Producer: Rowena Manansala
