Jasbir Mandair of Mandair Farms has been hard at work in the offseason of berry growing creating a beautiful line of jams and fruit butters for you to enjoy. Flavours include Peach Cinnamon Butter, Triple Berry Jam, and Raspberry Ginger Chamomile Jam. You'll find them along with hot pakoras, frozen berries, and locally grown vegetables at their booth each week.

Also, we require a jury of new products so please drop a sample off at Sunday Coquitlam market!... The Winter Market runs from November to April every Sunday, 10-2 PM outside Port Moody City Hall. Save this post for a pumpkin butter recipe Pumpkin butter can be added to toast, crepes, pancakes, oatmeal, yoghurt, smoothies. You can even put it in your morning latte for a true PSL Ingredients:... -3 1/2 cups homemade pumpkin purée (roughly 1 medium pumpkin) or 1 29-oz can -1/2 cup brown sugar or coconut sugar -3/4 cup apple cider vinegar or juice -2 tsp vanilla extract -2 cinnamon sticks -1-2 tsp pumpkin pie spice (cinnamon, ginger, all spice, nutmeg) Instructions: 1. Combine all ingredients in a large saucepan over medium high heat. Stir to combine. 2. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer for 20-40 minutes. The longer the simmer, the deeper the flavour and thicker butter. Stir frequently. 3. Adjust spices to taste. 4. Once thickened, cool and store in fridge for up to 2 weeks or frozen up to 1 month.
