UPCOMING SPIRIT DAYS! Port Rowan Public -LET's HAVE FUN!!! Nov.27th Disney Day: Dress up as your favorite Disney character. Let's have some fun! Dec.4th Port Rowan Spirit Day: Dress up in your Port Rowan Best purple, black and white! Show some school spirit! GO WILDCATS!... Dec.7th-14th Decorating Doors and Windows Class Challenge: Classrooms will compete in a door and window decorating contest! Let’s walk around the school to see the school set in the Holiday Spirit. Again, we ask nothing to be brought in by students please and thank you. Dec. 8th Christmas Trivia: We will be putting Christmas questions and emojis on the announcements for students to guess! Dec. 11th Holiday Math Day: Each class will be given fun Holiday activity involving math. Dec. 14th-18th Christmas Sounds: Christmas sounds will be played on the announcements for students to guess. So brush up on your holidays tunes! Dec 15th Christmas Ugly Sweater Day: Get dressed up in your bestest ugliest Christmas sweater or you’re your holiday apparel! Dec 17th Holiday PJ day: Wear your cozy holiday pajamas for a comfy cozy day! Just remember to change out of the ones you wore to bed the night before! Dec 18th Red and Green Day: Wear your red and green holiday colours for the last day before a well-deserved Winter Break! Let’s make it a magnificently joyous day and send 2020 off with a bang!

Port Rowan Public School took part in a "virtual" Remembrance ceremony for Remembrance Day today. Each class had the opportunity to lay a wreath at our front entrance. As well, all classes were able to visit a visual display of historical artifacts in our Learning Commons. Special thanks to the grade 7/8 classroom along with Ms. Hutchinson for your careful planning and delivery of our program today. Also, thanks to Mrs. DeCloet and Ms. Hutchinson for the items loaned for the visual display. Lastly, many students painted rocks of Remembrance that were placed on display at our local cenotaph last night. #lestweforget2020
