Accompagnante Yoga Maternité, Yoga Doula 14.12.2020

6 days after Mia’s birth~Feeling fantastic I know that so many woman are having to go threw a really difficult postpartum, physically, emotionally and mentally. My thoughts on this is that most woman could easily avoid these difficulties.... I’ve practiced yoga through all my pregnancies keeping every part of my body awake and strong, my systems active circulating and alive. What we mostly hear when we are pregnant is you must rest and eat like 2...personally I feel this is wrong and quiet insulting (unless the pregnancy has abnormalities/difficulties of course) not only that but if you rest for your entire pregnancy, the postpartum will obviously be super difficult (imagine not moving for 9 months and eating for 2...pregnant or not it will be a disaster on all levels) I’ve gave birth at 33years old, at 41 and 43. During my last 2 pregnancies (passed 40) I would have to hear that I should be more careful, basically EVERY DAY! First, if we take the time to tune in, our awareness is at peak during pregnancy...so you know better then anyone how to listen Yoga practice should preferably begin before getting pregnant and the sequencing will evolve as the pregnancy does. As long as diet goes..contrary to what is being said...indulging in ice cream and sweet delights is not ok...it’s actually the worst time to do so... Instead, indulge in good fats (raw coconut butter, ghee, consciously produced and harvested red palm oil, raw dairy, clean organic polyunsaturated fats...), in organic proteins, veggies and nonsweet fruits (berries are best, stay away from tropical and dried fruits) Walk danse love and nurture both of you
