People keep putting things down the toilet that cause clogs in city sewers, including dental floss, hair, paper towels, condoms, tampons and applicators. Poo and Pee are costumed mascots who are part of the citys annual Unflushable campaign. The 2019 campaign is reminding people that even products labelled "flushable," such as wipes, should not go down the loo. "We want people only to flush the pee and the poo, because there's a whole bunch of stuff that gets flushed down the toilet that doesn't belong there, said Coquitlam Mayor Richard Stewart.
