On December 9, 2020 at 11:50 A.M., PAFD responded to the 200 block of 7th Street East for a citizen assist. A person had fallen and was unable to get up. Fire Fighters assisted the person to a position of comfort. No injuries to report.
On December 9, 2020 at approximately 1:28 A.M., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded for a report of commercial fire alarms ringing in the 400 block of 9th Street East. On arrival, the structure had no smoke or fire showing from the exterior. After an investigation it was found there was a small cooking incident that activated the smoke alarms. There was no fire just smoke in the structure. Ventilation was set up to clear the smoke from the structure. There was no damage or injuries to report.
On December 7, 2020 at 3:20 P.M., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to a home in the 1100 block of 3rd Street East for fire alarms ringing. After investigation it was determined to be a minor cooking incident which was the cause of a false alarm. There were no damages to report.
December 7, 2020, at 12:03 P.M., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the 300 block of 14th Street West for fire alarms ringing. On arrival the occupants were all outside the building, and there was no smoke visible. Crews entered the structure to search the building and find the source of the alarm. Further investigation revealed an issue with one of the boilers that caused excessive heat and the alarm to sound. The boiler was isolated and a repair person was notified to fix the issue. The occupants were allowed back into the building and the incident was terminated.
On December 6, 2020 at 10:14 P.M., the Prince Albert Fire Department responded to the unit block of Guy Drive for a citizen assist. Upon investigation it was determined a person needed assistance from the floor to a chair. Fire crews helped the person and completed an assessment. The patient did not suffer any injuries or require further treatment.
On December 6, 2020 at 12:45 A.M., PAFD responded to the 200 block of Cambridge Street North West for a citizen assist. The person was helped to a position of comfort. There were no injuries to report.
