What to wear/bring to Boot Camp: - Comfortable, movable clothing. - Good pair of running shoes. - Water. Plenty of water! ... We will be taking advantage of our location and doing some training at Gyro park. In the gym we will be working out on the mats, so be prepared to train in bare feet.

This is for my Penticton girls tonight! Great work at class tonight. And make it a goal to become comfortable with being uncomfortable. Always be challenging yourself, that's how you move forward, that's how goals are met, that's how champions are made. If your comfortable there's something wrong. Great work on the 400 skipping crossovers, 200 squats and 100 push-ups. Now it's time to work at it until its easy! Proud of you girls!

Kids Anti-Bully Workshop 10:00-11:00 am ... Women's Self-Defense Workshop 11:00-12:00 pm (in order to go to the workshops, participants must bring a donation for the Women's Shelter!) BBQ 11:00-12:00 pm Pacific Top Team Seminar 12:00-3:00pm It's going to be an awesome day! Make sure to book the day off to come to Kelowna and bring your friends! SO EXCITED FOR THESE NEW CHANGES AND MOVING THE TEAM FORWARD! Just a reminder the gyms are closed Saturday July 20, 2013 at all three Gracie Barra Locations (Penticton, West Kelowna, and Kelowna). Everyone will be at the Okanagan Classic Jiu-Jitsu tournament held at the Sunplex Sports Arena (1155 Ellis St, Kelowna BC). The tournament starts at 9:00 am. If you're competing, good luck! If you aren't competing, come down and cheer your team on! ... We are still looking for volunteers for the day if you want to be part of the action! A bunch of our students attended and spread the word to their friends of the self-defense workshop we ran a couple months back. To attend the workshop the participant had to bring a donation to the women's shelter - the shelter sent us a card saying thank you and how much of a difference our donations made! (We gave 4 huge totes between Penticton and Kelowna!) . This is what our team is all about. Awesome work ladies!

Score keeping, ring coordinating, etc - really easy jobs and a ton of fun! Also, we feed a you free lunch, you get to watch some jiu-jitsu, and be part of a great team for the day!
