It is with a very sad heart that Queen’s Health Outreach recognizes the passing of our dear friend and partner, Reyaz Husein. Reyaz was an important partner with QHO for numerous years. He hosted QHO in his school, on NTN News, and encouraged our engagement with youth at the Everest Cricket Club. He was always welcoming, generous and protective of the Guyana Peer Educators who attended Georgetown each summer. Reyaz helped facilitate QHO’s Guyana Initiative for years, and did ...so much for the organization through his partnership and collaboration. We extend our condolences to his family, friends, and any one who knew him. He was a great man, and will be remembered by QHO for years to come. Here are some additional links for any interested to hear more about how Reyaz impacted the Georgetown and Guyana community. https://guyanatimesgy.com/tv-personality-reyaz-hussain-dies/ https://guyanachronicle.com/2020/12/26/454878/ https://www.kaieteurnewsonline.com//popular-tv-show-host-/

Hello everyone! As part of our 2021 virtual QHO Guyana Initiative, we will be posting videos every few weeks surrounding different health topics. Check out this video where Ingrid and Avery discuss various aspects of mental health! We are a student-run organization and not health professionals. We are not teachers. We are not a crisis line.... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3gUExAiMUMk
