Back to it with my right hand man for deconstruction day at one of our latest projects! I always encourage my construction team to assess the existing structures and materials on site to determine whether or not we can reduce our carbon footprint by opting for deconstruction instead of demolition. It may not be as quick as taking a sledgehammer to your space but it’s a great way to reduce the environmental impact of construction and give back if you opt to donate your materials to non-profit organizations!
