The Edmonton Shooting Centre 21.09.2020

Gunnies, A hard thing to do is to disappoint, and we know that there are many of you that have been following this project through the process, and have seen some of the disappointments. As we’re sure you’ll understand, the real, one and only thing that gets a project such as this off the ground is funding. It’s something that’s taken a large portion of our energy to secure, and the majority of that effort has been with the BDC (Business Development Bank of Canada), a federa...lly funded bank devoted to helping Canadians in start up ventures, with, up until recently, very positive feedback. Regrettably, that has taken an unforeseeable turn of events with an email stating that new policy will not allow them to fund projects that deal with firearms or ammunition as its business model. It appears the Liberal government is alive and well in its mandate to restrict firearms and shooting activities in Canada, legal or not. As an owner group, we are far from deterred, and are forging on with positive momentum, and look forward to putting in place this facility. Regards, Cross Armoury Ownership Group See more

On the 1 July 2016 The new version of the CFSC will be taught in all of my classes. There is a new book that will have both the Non-Restricted and Restricted c...ombined. But not a combined course. They have to be taught on two separate days. This will save on printing costs. New lesson plans and a Power Point presentation package was given to the instructor as well. Other than that business as usual. See more

Saturday 7 May 2016. Ladies! We invite you to check out the mobile PRISIM 1000 Shooting Simulator in the Cabela's Edmonton South parking lot! If you're curious about firearms or are just looking for a thrill, this realistic, true-to-life simulator will safely introduce you to the mechanics of firing a gun, video game style, without any of the risks. Participation will be on a walk-up, first-come-first-serve basis. If your hubby or significant other happens to be tagging along this activity is one he'll definitely enjoy!

To our followers, Big changes are underway! The Edmonton Shooting Centre will be moving location to Acheson. The new location will provide the space needed for the construction of a brand new, purpose built facility.... We’ve been working on this project for over two years and learnt a lot. After consulting with other ranges, law enforcement agencies and the best architects available, we’ve decided to raise the bar. We’ll be offering; 24 pistol lanes, retail space, classrooms, simulator training, cleaning benches, reloading stations, secure storage for your firearms, members lounge, and the only public indoor 100 metre range in Canada. The location we’ve chosen will provide easy access to access to Edmonton, Spruce Grove, and the surrounding areas. A project like this will take a little longer that any of us would like. But, we want to ensure we deliver the best shooting experience possible. Please continue to watch the web page and follow us on Facebook. As progress is being made, we’ll be providing regular updates and look forward to seeing you. The Team. Edmonton Shooting Centre.

We have run into another delay and will likely not open until 2017. Seeking new accommodations. Sorry to disappoint, but S*^t happens and we needed to adjust.

Scrambling to get the simulation trailer out of winter hibernation for an event this Saturday and Sunday at Cabelas (S). Anthony Seward will help run the Firearms Simulator from 10-4 on both days. We will have an AR-15 Rifle available to practice your shooting skills on.

I can't believe the number of calls I'm getting from people sitting in the parking lots of the Beaver Plastics Building and asking why we are not open yet. I always feel bad when I have to tell them its still a few months away from opening. We have changed the times on Google, but it is going to take a few days to activate it. So be patient we are getting there.

This is a well written response to the non-issue of Jody Mitic's ownership of a restricted firearm and CBCs biased approach to reporting it.

We hope to work with O'Dell Engineering and selling their product in our store.
