You will lie on your back peacefully (yoga pose: Savasana) and receive healing vibrations from a variety of instruments such as the Gong, Singing Bowls and Drums. In our busy-ness we realize to be more alive, we must bless our courage A short practice for courage: Stand tall, inhale, lift your arms wide and up towards the sky and look up. Hold the breath as you level the chin, exhale, let your arms come back down by your sides. Practice this 5 times. Shift to tree pose (use the wall for back support) and repeat. How do you feel?
Practice being present by intention setting Create an intention to give you a little peace and quiet every single day: "My intention is to invite peace within me" A five minute pause may be enough to uplift the self beyond our physicality. Close your eyes and take a few mindful breaths. Notice the way the breath enters and exits your lungs. Breathe slowly, in peace without distraction, This practice will help with concentration and becoming more successful with the i...ntention. As the day progresses, adjust the intention to enhance curiosity: "My intention is to enjoy peace within me" Embrace moments of peace, allow them to take over, indulge in them. For eg. engage in the pleasure of being in nature surrounded by trees, water and sky. Increase the brain chemicals associated with peace. Or engage in the process of being in yoga asanas during a yoga practice. Towards the end of the day, do a review: think back to the start of the day and remember the mindful practice that kicked it all off. Remember how it made you feel. Think through the rest of the day for any memorable moments. Take note of your mood as the day progressed. See more
