Well...Christmas is officially here We will be out of the shop for the holidays and back spinnin’ the lathe on January 4th, 2021!! Pro tip # 1: If you attempt to drill your own bolt pattern, make sure you use the correct size drill. Pro tip # 2: If you do drill it too big, wrapping the stud in duct tap is not the proper way to fix it. (See 2nd pic) Pro tip # 3: Do what this customer did when he found out the previous owner had messed it up....take it to a professional. Whipped up a few rollers for a client's homemade belt sander project. Aluminum is so nice to work with. #ravenmachineltd #manualmachinist #manualmachining #moosejaw #citymj

This #modelt transmission came in with one mildly worn bore. Upon inspection, it was worn perfectly round. I was able to build a new shaft with a slightly raised portion to get rid of the excess play. It was definitely a much cheaper alternative than setting the housing up to sleeve it and should last for years to come. #ravenmachineltd #manualmachinist #manualmachining #moosejaw #citymj
