The weather is finally starting to turn nicer and looking forward to the 2020 season to start. And Bam
Been busy with so far getting ready for the 2020 season. Working on a few small details but hopefully have all the gremlins fixed for this year.
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays. I hope everyone has an amazing and safe Holiday with family and friends and to anyone who races with me. Eat a few extra plates of food, I need some sort of advantage for next season.
One more job complete on the car. Hopefully this new cooling duct will keep my motor from overheating next season.
Working away today on motor number 2 this year. Trying to get an oil leak solved and fixed. This has been a trying season to say the least. Have not had a full race session yet to get comfortable and figure all the car has yet. Onward and upward from here I hope.
Was not a good start to the season with my motor completely going for a shit in practice. Thanks to Matt Clark and Mike Clark my new motor is in and ready to go. Looking forward to shaking the car down once again at Mosport next weekend with the F1200 group. Great field of cars and so far sitting at a 12 car field.
Not the weekend we were hoping for the first race of the season . Lost my motor in practice but was able to get a few laps in the sunshine. Will be ready to go for Mid Ohio in June.
Loaded and ready to go for Race 1 of the 2019 season next weekend at Watkins Glen New York.
This pretty much sums up the off season getting the car and everything prepped for the upcoming season.
RBM Motorsports would like to thank Jormat Contracting Inc for coming on board this season as a sponsor.

Excited to be back behind the wheel racing this weekend. I will be racing the #95 for Wasserman Racing at Shannonville Motorports Park in the CTCC Summer Shootout races. Looking to get a Podium finish this weekend with this rocket of a car.
Cant wait to be back in this office in 2 weeks for the season opening race of the Challenge Cup Series at Canadian Tire Motorsports Park.
The 2018 race season is quickly coming. Unfortunately sold the Legends race car to concentrate on the Challenge Cup Series but have added a new car and driver to the team this year.
Well the 2017 race season is complete. Just an incredible year racing in both the Challenge Cup Series and the Eastern Ontario Legends Series. A year of highs and lows but a blast every time I was behind the wheel. Finished 7th in the Challenge Cup Series and was only able to make a few races in the Legends car and that is a huge learning curve but hope to be out more next season and work my way up. Proud to have supported LAPS4MD this season and look forward to continuing to support this amazing cause. Now the long winter spent prepping both cars for the 2018 season. Will keep everyone up to date with progress and who knows may get to race somewhere over the winter.
Awesome weekend racing at Mid Ohio with the Challenge cup Series. Saturday qualifying was in the rain and qualified 13th out of a field of 21 cars. Race 1 I ended up finishing 12th in a very tight race. The field brought their game as second qualifying on Sunday was tight with the entire field within seconds of one another. Ended up qualifying 14th and finishing 12th. We had pace with the lead pack but a spin in front of me early on let the field gap me but had a blast racing with the guys with me. Cant wait for Pittsburgh in 3 weeks.
Another great Saturday night at Peterborough Speedway in the Eastern Ontario Legends series. Unfortunately my clutch let go in the second heat and was unable to get the car back together in time for the feature. I had changed the set up a bit and the car was handling amazing and was up with the pack. Cant wait to get it all back together and be back out.
Cant say this enough. The next 2 weeks are going to be awesome. Starting off With a little Saturday night short track racing in the Legends car June 24th at Peterborough Speedway and then the following week June 30-July 2 racing in the Challenge Cup Series at Mid Ohio with the Formula Vee.
A few pictures from Saturday night in the Legends car. Great series, great racing and great people to race with. Had a blast and cant wait to be back out racing the car again.
Not the way I wanted to finish my first race in the Legend car. But this is Saturday night short track racing . It will be rebuilt and back out for sure. These things are a blast to drive and is a steep learning curve from the formula cars.
Had a great first race weekend of the season at CTMP. Ended up qualifying Saturday in 19th and finishing in 17th. Ran my fastest lap times despite being down on power. Figured out I had a bad carb. Todays races were cut short due to A thunderstorm and mothball size hail but managed to get 13th before the race was called. Good start to the season and looking forward to racing my Legends car at Peterborough Speedway next weekend.
Got my LAPS4MD decals in the mail and got them installed today on both the cars. First race is at Mosport in my F1200 at Mosport for the first race of the 2017 Challenge Cup Series season then first night out in the Legends car is May 20th at Peterborough Speedway with the Eastern Ontario Legends Series. Let race season begin. Its going to be an amazing and busy year with both series
The Legend car all waxed and put on display to represent the Eastern Ontario Legends Series and Peterborough Speedway at the Lindsay Square Mall
Got my body back from the paint shop today. Turned out amazing. Thanks to CK Motorsports for the badass paint job. Almost ready to go for the first race of 2017 in the Challenge Cup Series at CTMP (Mosport) May 12-14 2017.
Excited to announce I will be running an exhibition show with the Challenge Cup Series at the ABC Supply Co 500 Indy Car race at Pocono in August this year.
Finally got the car out and into the sunshine after a long winter of being prepped.
Last thing left to do is add series sponsor decals and Supporter decals and the Legends car is ready for the 2017 Eastern Ontario Legends Series.
Now that the Legends car is pretty well ready to go, now its time to prep the F1200 for the 2017 Challenge Cup Series season. May is right around the corner for both series.
The 98 Legends car is finally put back together and is almost ready to hit the track. Just need to scale it and get the set up done and final decals installed.
So true. Waiting on hopefully last of the parts shipments to come in.
Freshly painted bodywork being installed on the # 98 Legends car. Its slowly starting to look like something. Cant wait to race this badboy this season.
Throw Back Thursday. Back to 2002 my rookie year driving a Mini Stock at Peterborough Speedway. Man time flies by.
https://www.facebook.com/permalink.php?story_fbid=286551308428201&id=100012200016353 The #98 Legends body is finished up in the paint shop. Looks awesome. Cant wait to get it mounted back on the chassis.
Received my shipment of LAPS4MD swag today. Proud to support such an amazing cause through my racing programs here in Canada and the U.S. and overseas.
#98 Legends car is getting closer to being ready. New rims and tires mounted and engine is also almost ready to go. New oil cooler set up and head cooling fans installed.
