First of two pipes today. Walnut bowl wth a wenge stem.

Yesterday i had a customer ask for a wood pipe. Finished this today for her. She was very happy to use it. Made this with walnut for the bowl and stem. The mouthpiece is out of acrylic. The wood is finished with a few coats of bees wax and salad bowl oil.

Well it’s been a very busy summer with swim meets and work. Now that everything has slowed down some I managed to get back to the lathe. Up first is a few custom orders for a few bolt action pens for an old work colleague who is still serving in the military. The birds eye maple is looking awesome.
