BC is extending the freeze on rent increases until July 10, 2021, under the Emergency Program Act + COVID-19 Related Measures Act. Any increase set to occur on Dec. 1, 2020, is cancelled, along with all pending increases through to July. For more info: https://buff.ly/34dNl5w

"Rent Smart really helped my being aware of the rental tenancy agreement more fully, putting my application at the top of the subsidized housing lists because I had the rent smart, and the two bedroom places are very hard to come by. Helping to understand the avenues that a renter has to take if requesting the landlord is able to fix up the unit, and the teacher was willing to make appointments afterwards to help me proofread the letters to make sure they state all the pertin...ent information, which was beyond helpful.
