Temporary Office Closure due to COVID-19 Dear Patients, After careful consideration of the recommendations made by Health Canada, as well as the College of Chiropractors of Ontario, Riverside Chiropractic will be temporarily closed, effective immediately. ... This is a difficult decision as a clinic owner, but the safety of our patients and staff is our first priority. I estimate this closure will last approximately two weeks. Our hope is that we will be cleared to re-open Wednesday April 1st, but we're waiting on further instructions, so this date is currently tentative. Those of you with appointments booked during our closure will receive a cancellation notice via email the day before. Once we re-open, this cancellation confirmation will switch to a message that notifies you that the office is re-opened and you're good to come on back! Our office voicemail and email will continue to be checked and updated daily during the closure. I truly appreciate your understanding and support during this uncertain time. It's wonderful to see how technology can help track progress, and lead to tangible RESULTS in patient's well-being and lives. Here is the story of these pictures: John came in to the office with debilitating low back pain. He had neglected his spine health for years and it caught up with him. We did a BEFORE scan using our nerve screening technology (see picture), and have been working on John in the office, and he has been working hard doing his homework exercises and th...e results have been OUTSTANDING. Both his symptoms and nerve health scan have improved dramatically. Here is how the scan works: The screening I use at my office detects muscle tension using surface EMG to determine muscle/nerve tension in the spine. The colours represent severity (white = good, green = mild, blue = moderate, red = severe, black = very severe) of the nerve dysfunction. It's amazing to see what 2 months of care can do. Now what? John (like many other of my patients) realizes that taking care of his spine is important! Pain often only shows up once an issue is severe. He is going to maintain all the benefits of a healthy spine with maintenance care to keep his spine and nerves healthy and functional long-term.
