North Island COs were out today checking steelhead anglers. Unfortunately compliance was quite low with angling licensing requirements. Multiple charges and warnings were issued.

Lake and stream fishing is just around the corner. Get your gear ready.

Hunters, be sure you know what to do with the carcasses of the birds you hunt. In Richmond you’re allowed to put them in our green bins.

The 12th annual Fraser River cleanup is happening on March 23rd from 10am to 1pm! Up to 800 volunteers are expected to tackle 20km of Fraser River shoreline in Chilliwack! The meeting place will be at the end of Gill Road. A free BBQ is provided for all participants.

Only a few meetings left till the summer break. New or prospective members are always welcome. First Tuesday of every month.

Elections were held at our Annual General Meeting on Tuesday. It’s good to see new people stepping up to fill vacant committee chairs adding to the vibrancy of our club. A list of names and positions will be in the next Newsletter. Congratulations to the new directors.
