The Roberts Creek Community Association is proud to announce the installation of two new picnic tables and a bench in the green space behind the community library. This project was made possible by a $5000 grant from the Canada Post Community Foundation. This public seating area will be a community treasure for Creekers. Wood was sourced by RCCA Director Scott Avery from BMHC Timber Milling (Bryan Conyers). Expert welding was carried out by Gladwin Trails Farm and Fabrication... (Jordan Smith), RCCA President Sarah Bradley and Jordan Smith donated their time to build and install these beautiful creations. RCCA Vice President Karen Spicer says, We are thrilled to have received the generous support of the Canada Post Community Foundation and we are confident that the project will result in a greenspace that is more welcoming to children and youth in the heart of Roberts Creek. Want to spread awareness about change in your local area while having fun and networking with like-minded people? Earth Day Coordination might be your jam.
