Citrine, November’s birthstone, range from golden yellow to orange. They are a transparent quartz stone and most are heat treated to get a golden colour. Due to their durability, there is a wide variety of jewellery options featuring citrine.

October is opal month, if you’re born in October this is your stone. Most common white opals come from Australia or Ethiopia but there are other colours found in the world, like Mexican fire opal in shades of brown, orange and yellow. Opals are soft and can absorb moisture, so take care when wearing your opals.
