It supposed to be a normal birthday shooting but it turned out to an amazing lifestyle session! When I went to her place I found that she is a bookworm and we took several shots of her lifestyle with birthday theme. Honestly, I learned an important lesson from this session. As you know (or not) this is my experiencing year. I have a photography checklist of different categories of photography that I wanna try. These past weeks I was working on newborn and maternity. The maternity part was fine but believe me, a newborn shooting session is not all like awww cuuuute For me, it was the most difficult one! I didn't know why I'm that much uncomfortable at a newborn session Well finally I learned that it wasn't me in those sessions. I was trying ...to do whatever other newborn photographers do and I was comfortable because that's not my style at all! So I change the process to my style and I'm suuuuper satisfied with its outcome. These couple photos are what I want to capture. I'm fan of showing the reality in an artistic way. Look at the first photo! A mom is dealing with his first child without trying to have weird photography poses. For me that's realistic and sweet!
