One of the last deliveries/pickups of 2020

With a crazy 2020 almost behind us...I wanted to do my annual photo review. Shows some of my favourite projects and down time throughout the year. I tried to keep it as chronological as possible. Thanks for another great year Time now to go on a break before a busy 2021.

Charcuterie Boards! Been wanting to experiment with these for awhile and finally finished a couple today. They are reclaimed oak lightly planed but still left with that unique weathered character. ... Sanded silky smooth and finished with all natural beeswax.

A few last minute pieces available this week for Christmas before I shut down for a couple weeks. Busy new year already booked in!

First attempt at some stencilling...actually my 10year old did a lot of it. Wanted a sign for our new front door and siding.

I’ve always kept my cutoffs to use as much of the old boards as possible. Recently I’ve started using all the knots that fall out to reclaim even more. From start to finish they are cut down, rough sanded and polished with beeswax. Each piece is unique and vintage

Something to be said about finishing off a reclaimed piece with vintage square headed nails. Pieces built to last a lifetime with already over 100yrs worth of history in them...
