Rugged Beauty Boat Tours 31.12.2020

Just back home from spending a couple of beautiful days in British Hr. Enjoyed seeing lots of wildlife yesterday, wish we had gotten pictures. Two seals and a otter on the harbour ice, two moose and a squirrel on the trail and an eagle along with two crows pitched outside the cabin! Rabbit and coyote tracks everywhere!

Thank you to all our clients that did Rugged Beauty Boat Tour during 2019 season and to all the businesses that supported us. We wish you all a very Merry Christmas and a Happy & Healthy New Year. For now we are looking forward to enjoying the holidays with our family and some winter relaxation at our cabin in British Hr including all that the snow & cold brings, snowmobiling, ice fishing, snow shoeing & boil ups. We so look forward to a busy 2020 season & are taking bookings throughout the year.

A Newfoundland tradition for visitors to our province that want to become honorary Newfoundlanders they have to do a screech in ceremony which involves saying a Newfoundland saying, a drink of screech rum & kiss a cod fish. The cod fish is always a dead fish & sometimes frozen but this great lady, Wendy Hamilton kissed a live cod fish. Not many people can actually say they did that! Can you imagine the story this fish had to tell is fish family & friends when he returned to the ocean!!

Photo of our recent Certificate of Excellence, 2018. We wish everyone a happy & safe Canada Day weekend & especially remembering Memorial Day, July 1st when we lost so many brave Newfoundland Soldiers 103 years ago!
