Hi guys! We are hiring for the 2019/2020 team! Our interviews will be this Wednesday from 2-5pm in SCC B09. Here are all the positions and what they mean: Event Associate The events team the biggest team in our club. They are mainly responsible for scheduling and booking rooms. They are also required to communicate with different parties in order to book and confirm different facilities. Some specific tasks that will be handled by the event associates would be; Keeping in t...rack with the items needed for events, and making arrangements Creating agendas for events Manage the calendar, and inform other members of any changes Assist the VP of events with emails Marketing Associate Marketing associated, along with their VP, are mainly in charge of promoting the events. Some specific tasks that marketing associate will handle include: Be in charge of our social media (Instagram/ Facebook) Promoting events, announcements, replying to messages etc. Designing posters and posts Compose emails that will be sent out to the community Photography Associate cover the events and manage the albums Designing our new logo Manage the SLSA email account Finance Associate The finance team handle all the money related tasks. Some main tasks are mentioned below; Making a budget for each event and each semester Apply for special funding if needed Handle money from fundraisers, tickets etc. Keep records for all the money transactions Handle the process of getting members their refund for purchases done for events We can’t wait to see you guys join the team!
