We take this opportunity to remember victims of traffic collisions and acknowledge our collective responsibility to prevent serious injuries and deaths on our roadways. How can we do this? Don’t drive while impaired by fatigue, drugs or alcohol. Drive at a speed that is appropriate for the weather and road conditions. Drive with courtesy and caution, without distractions. ...Always wear your seat belt and ensure that others in your vehicle do so as well. Maintain your vehicle in good condition and obey traffic laws, signs and signals. On average, 5 Canadians are killed every day in road collisions. More are seriously injured. Every time you get behind the wheel you hold the life of yourself and others in your hands. Drive accordingly. Drive Safely.
