This year was like no other in real estate. The market remained strong despite a pandemic. #Cambridge saw a regional high 20.7% increase in average sale prices from December 2019. Days on market decreased to 17 with listings selling for 109.8% on average of their listing price. #Kitchener saw equally impressive gains in average sales prices jumping 17.7% from 2019. Days on market declined to 16, with properties selling for an average of 107.9% of their listing price. #Waterl...oo for the first time this year saw a very marginal increase in average sale prices up just 0.1% in comparison to December 2019. Days on market dropped a a regional high of 14 down to 19 DOM. Listings sold for an average of 6.9%. Who do you wear your poppy for? I think most of us have friends or family members that they think of when they put on their poppy. I'm grateful to have both friends and family that have served our country. My Great Grandfather Frederick Simmons fought in the battle of Vimy Ridge in the First World War. My grandfather Jack Simmons served in World War II as a mechanic in the Navy. He was in active service on both the east coast and west coast of Canada from 1943 - 1945.... I'm also very proud of my friends and fellow Royal LePagers Mark Richardson and Karlis Bite. Karlis served with the 1st Battalion Royal Canadian Regiment as an Infantry Officer. Mark serves as a Captain in the Canadian Armed Forces and re"MARK"ably survived being shot down in a helicopter on one of his tours in Afghanistan. Who do you think of when you see a poppy?
